Custom Boxes
We have the ability to create custom boxes from
scratch. This page is comprised of boxes which we have built.
In some cases we experiment with different boxes to make derivatives.
In other cases, we take orders from private customers and make them
according to their desires.
For many of the boxes we start with production
made empty boxes, line them with various combinations of watch pillows,
ring holders, pen holders, and jewelry trays. By starting with a production
outer box, we are able to do custom work and keep the price affordable.
Custom Solid Hardwood Boxes
Boxes that are completely custom are made from
solid hardwoods, instead of veneered boxes. In these boxes, we
go to the lumber mill and hand pick the raw cut boards right from the
trees as they are milled. We then choose the grain and color according
to the size of the box.
For one box, a single board is utilized, with
pieces cut out for front, then side, then back, then the opposite side,
in that order. This allows all the grain to match for the top,
and all the grain to match for the body. The bottom is made from
multiple cuts that are joined into a solid base. The top utilizes
biscuits at every corner for superior strength
Superior-quality machined German or American
brass hardware is utilized for an ultra-refined box.
With a high quality box we offer luxurious ultrasuede
(store cost is $50 per yard).
For a more elaborate touch we spend several more
hours creating matching custom pillows using local seamstresses.
We have made pillows in black and hunter green.
The nicest boxes can have additional lift out
trays for extra jewelry and pen storage.

All shipping is normally done by USPS priority
mail. We have shipped thousands of cases and had negligible losses.

24 Place Watch, Pen, and Jewelry Box
This box is customizeable. The
one pictured features upper and lower compartments, and
24 special velveteen cushions. The upper holds 12 watches
and has a front row for pens. A lift out tray makes room
for more special jewelry. Below is a slide out drawer that
holds 12 watches and has a special place for a polishing cloth.
Other options are 20 watches above and 12 below, or yet other
configurations.

This box is similar to the 12 place
glass top box. It is Mahogany veneer with spaces for 8 watches
and a lift out tray for pens. Underneath are ring slots
and extra storage capacity.
